Volunteer Opportunities
Not only do we have employment opportunities, we also encourage you to volunteer.
Volunteers play an important role in Hospice Complete’s Team. You may choose to
work directly with our families, provide administrative support, indirectly help our
families and patients by providing mail outs or special arts and crafts, or you may
have the credentials in order to provide legal or accounting assistance.
Our Patient/Family Volunteers support our families throughout the terminal illness
helping the families deal with loss and grief. These volunteers provide support and
companionship by reading to our patients or just listening. Volunteers may run small
errands or provide relief for the caregiver by staying with the patient so the caregiver
can go shopping or run necessary errands.
Our Office Volunteers help with administrative duties in our office. These duties may
involve answering the phones, filing, or helping with mail outs.
Our Special Consultant Volunteers provide services directly related to their expertise.
This encompasses a variety of tasks which may include legal, accounting, beautician,
therapy, art or music therapy, or pastoral services.
All volunteers receive extensive training before accepting a volunteer assignment. We
cover all aspects of the hospice program and what to expect when helping our patients.
No matter which area of volunteering you decide to get involved in, Hospice Complete is
here for you, the volunteer, by providing you with all the necessary training and education
that you may need to fulfill your rewarding volunteer position. Volunteers are a large part
of hospice. Visit our Volunteer Opportunities page
for more information about how you can join our team and become a Hospice Complete Volunteer!
